A leading global financial awarding body are recruiting for an Assessment Manager for a maternity contract that maybe extended. The role will be responsible for develop and managing designated assessments, ensuring that they are available at the right time, quality and budget. This includes managing the people and processes relating to the development of assessments and related examination material (pre-examinations) and the processes leading to the issue of examination results (post-examinations) in a computer based testing environment.
As someone who has an understanding of examinations and assessments within an awarding or professional body setting to ensure that all assessments are prepared and delivered with zero defects and work with colleagues to continually review and enhance the examination provision.
Using your ability to lead and direct teams you will be responsible for the recruitment, appointment and monitoring the performance of faculty members, as well as the day to day management of the Faculty members working on the assessments and any related materials.
You will have experience of computer based assessment, in terms of both assessment design and examination delivery in a high-stakes environment; developing new computer based exam programmes; refreshing and modifying existing computer based exam programmes; online/on-screen marking, and an appreciation of different forms of assessment, for example, auto-scored items (e.g. OTQs) and human marking.
