An innovative Education Charity are expanding their London team and are offering a unique opportunity to work with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, giving them better access to careers through apprenticeships. The role is mainly home based but will require you to travel extensively to local partnership organisations in London.
You'll be working in partnership with renowned national sports clubs and education providers to deliver and coordinate employability skills programmes to young people, giving them transferable skills and experiences to earn them apprenticeships in leading businesses.
You will be responsible for building strong relationships with multiple young people, supporting and mentoring them throughout the programme. Your involvement will include delivering employability work shops as well as working closely with delivery partner staff to monitor the progress of each young person and ultimately help them secure an apprenticeship.
This is a demanding but exciting role that requires you to be an excellent communicator, confident leading groups of young people from a range of backgrounds, but also being comfortable in a corporate setting too. You may come from a youth work background or similar, but you must be able to show a proven track record of managing and mentoring groups of young people.
