A permanent Young Peoples Support Worker job in Stockwell paying a salary of £22,000.
Your new organisation
An established Social Housing Charity who pride themselves on their support to society across London.
The charity provides a wide range of different support services, all ensuring the service users are able to live a happy and independent life and take control of their own lives.
Due to successful growth, they are looking for a Support Worker to join their service in Stockwell.
Your new job
In your job, you will join the successful Housing & Support Team in a large supported accommodation service. You will hold your own caseload of service users, and support, encourage and promote the young people to take charge and lead an independent life.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the young people with teaching life skills such as budgeting or job applications, housing management help and key working/group sessions, building a trusted support and working relationship with yourself and your young people.
You will be offered a ?22,000pa salary, a comprehensive training & development programme and other internal staff benefits. Shifts will also include working some evenings and weekends.
About you
You will hold demonstrable experience within a similar Social Housing capacity working with Young People from a wide range of different backgrounds.
You will hold excellent communication skills and the enthusiasm needed to empower the individuals to lead their lives their way, improve life skills and follow their long term goals.
