London Concert Choir is a charity run by volunteers dedicated to spreading the joy of music to its members, supporters and audience. We promote up to 10 concerts a year in major venues around London (including the Barbican Centre and the Cadogan Hall) and have high expectations of the standards of our music making. Our membership is drawn from across London and we are based in Bloomsbury. For more information on the Choir, please visit our website - http://www.london-concert-choir.org.uk/
We want to develop the public profile of the Choir in order to:
- ensure we get great audiences at our concerts
- develop sponsorship and partnering opportunities
- get more press coverage of the great work that we do
- give our members the most exciting singing opportunities that we can
We are looking for someone who wants to work in the not-for-profit and/or arts/event management sectors who could give some of their time to help us in this quest. You will bring to us the ideas, knowledge and excitement you have built up through your degree and previous experience in this area and will be able to give us a few hours a week of your time to work with us. We will give you in return many opportunities to put those ideas to work, lots more experience and a very useful entry for your CV!
