Join us on Saturday 16th September 2017 for The Great Gorilla Run! Our award winning flagship event is back for another year of gorilla- around and raising vital funds for endangered gorillas!
Now in it's 15th year, The Gorilla Run is a 8km fun run with hundreds of people donning gorilla suits as they make their way around some of London's most iconic landmarks, such as Tower Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral.
With fewer than 900 mountain gorillas left in the world, we are determined to see their numbers in the wild increase but we can only achieve it with your help.
We rely solely on volunteers to help us out on the day and the roles are very varied, from helping on the registration desk checking people in, to distributing costumes, to handling baggage and then marshalling the course around London. We usually need about 40 volunteers on the day. It is a great day and fun filled, we would require volunteers for half a day from about7.30am - 1pm. This year the run is taking place on the16th September.
Potential candidates should email Emily Phelps at firstname.lastname@example.org with volunteering as the subject.
