As a charity that receives no government funding, the RNLI relies on passionate and dedicated volunteers fulfilling many different types of volunteering opportunities in line with the RNLI’s changing needs.
The Tax Manager is responsible for providing tax support and expertise across the RNLI, allowing the organisation to minimise its tax bill. Over the years, the RNLI has been successful in obtaining various tax concessions which now need to be properly documented and archived.
We are currently looking for a volunteer to support the Tax Manager who will be able to deal with sensitive and confidential information, use their own initiative, and collate and archive information in a methodical way with a keen attention to detail. To carry out this role confidently you should be computer literate with experience of using Word/Excel; experience using an in-house intranet would be beneficial, as would a financial background.
We are looking for someone who would be able to volunteer for one day or two half days a week, on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday, starting immediately.
