Heritage Charity London
We are looking for an experienced and successful Fundraising Specialist to lead and create fundraising strategies to deliver a vital income stream for our charity.
What will you be doing?
Heritage Charity London is dedicated to ameliorating the effects of deprivation on disengaged and disadvantaged children and young people.
We need a lead fundraiser to help us make the most of fundraising opportunities and implement our fundraising strategy.
There is currently no fundraising expertise in the company and we are therefore looking for someone who can bring this expertise to the team.
We are looking for someone that has experience in creating an overall fundraising strategy, writing grant proposals and using other methods to bring in funds such as creating relationships with donors, putting on fundraising events and activities etc.
Recognising that traditional, in-person activities are not viable for the foreseeable future, we are looking for someone with experience in the charity sector to develop creative online fundraising (eg. Just Giving) ideas and encourage local individuals/organisations to fundraise on our behalf.
Our charity is working in the education sector, with the core mission to give children access to quality education and to ameliorate the effects of deprivation on disengaged and disadvantaged children and young people.
What are we looking for?
The talents we are looking for:
- Fundraising experience in the charity sector of both corporate and individual giving.
- Experience of creating and implementing a fundraising plan which involves a wide range of audiences, stakeholders and influencers.
- Enjoy networking and making connections to identify opportunities for raising money.
- Able to inspire and motivate others to get involved.
- A self-starter, able to work collaboratively across our virtual organisation.
What difference will you make?
With your help, we will be able to continue to provide children with the educational support they need. You would play an important part in securing this support.
What's in it for the volunteer?
You would become part of our dedicated and friendly team and you have the opportunity to use your time to make a real difference in the lives of children.
