The Plumstead Make Merry is the longest-running community festival in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Contrary to popular belief, the festival is not run by the council, and the council do not fund the infrastructure of the event. It is run entirely by volunteers who are passionate about the local area, and funded through the generosity our supporters and dedicated fundraising efforts.
Each year, over 5000 people come along to enjoy a packed day of music, arts and activities that celebrate the history of the area and its diverse community.
The Plumstead Make Merry would not happen without its dedicated team of volunteers who kindly donate their time to support the event. We have great ambitions for the next festival but need your help to make them a reality.
