COSMIC (Children of St Mary's Intensive Care) supports the children’s intensive care unit at St Mary’s Hospital in London by helping patients and their families, and enabling our dedicated team to treat hundreds of critically ill children each year.

Last November, we launched a major fundraising appeal to expand and refurbish the children's intensive care unit. Last month, we were delighted to have been chosen as the beneficiary of the Marylebone summer fayre which is a huge opportunity for our small but vital charity.

The fayre will be taking place on Sunday 19th June and we will need around 40-50 volunteers to help us cover the stalls and manage collection buckets for 2-3 hour time slots from 9:30am to 8pm.

The Marylebone Fayre is a wonderful street party providing everything you would expect from a traditional village fete – food, drink, music, children's activities, craft stalls, a farmers' market, tombola and lashings of community spirit. But because it takes place right in the heart of central London it also has a number of advantages over its more parochial cousins – a music stage featuring some of the most exciting up-and-coming acts in the country, the participation of some of London's finest restaurants and retailers, and an amazing diversity of activities.

We are very keen to recruit some wonderful volunteers to help us promote our charity and to help us raise much needed funds for the appeal.

We would greatly appreciate anybody that is able to volunteer and would also be happy to offer all volunteers a tour of the intensive care unit to show how their support will make a huge difference.

If you are interested in helping out on the day, please email or call 020 3312 6175.
