Role: Volunteer Data Entry Assistant

Supported by: Volunteer Co-Ordinator

Main Purpose: to support our teams in keeping records up to date

Overview of Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated volunteer with excellent computer skills who has a commitment to the values of Chickenshed.

Responsibilities

Supported by the Volunteer Co-Ordinator, the main purpose of this volunteering role is to help with updating our large database, Spektrix. In addition there may be some tasks requiring the updating of excel spreadsheets. Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail, is crucial for this role.

Skills and Qualities

  • Integrity and ability to work confidentially
  • Excellent computer skills especially knowledge of Excel
  • Experience of data entry would be an advantage but full training will be given
  • Well organised and efficient with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Willingness to embrace the inclusive ethos of Chickenshed

Times and Commitment

This is a voluntary position for someone who can spare a couple of hours per week on a regular basis. Although we cannot offer expenses, we offer flexibility, a friendly welcome and a programme of events for Volunteers.
