Who are we?
Solidarity Sports works with the most vulnerable children in London, 90% of which are referred to us through social services, refuges and those affected by the Grenfell fire. We exist to give those aged 5-11 who have suffered severe child trauma a chance to develop their confidence in a healthy environment. We provide care and attention whilst also providing boundaries, which, many of our children have not had.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about working with children. Our projects rely on volunteers, you will be at the forefront of making happy memories for our children. Our work can be challenging but is also so much fun and very rewarding. You will join us on our trips around London, encouraging our children with new experiences and ensuring their safety at all times. Our trips include ice-skating, attractions, cinema and so much more!
Volunteers will be DBS checked and given the opportunity to attend a course on how to understand vulnerable children.
