Our client, a community environment charity, is seeking a new Volunteer Brokerage Coordinator to join their growing successful programme and a well established team. In this role you will be working alongside your team to deliver volunteer services with your partners, such as local communities, agencies, housing associations and organisations.

The key responsibilities for the Volunteer Brokerage Coordinator:

Manage the customer facing communications of the service
Work in partnership with external partners to deliver volunteer services
Coordinate and deliver outreach sessions, training or events to recruit prospective volunteers
Support the referral of potential volunteers to organisations with volunteer vacancies
Register and support organisations, delivering training and support sessions
Ensure service response times are met
Attend team meetings and contribute to the planning of the service

Essential criteria for the Volunteer Brokerage Coordinator:

Experience in delivery of community and volunteering projects or services
Ability to coordinate volunteers and event staff and to supervise their daily tasks
Excellent leadership skills in coordinating teams and volunteers
Experience in delivering training and events for volunteers
Proven experience in advising organisations on volunteering best practice
Ability to use social media to market volunteering opportunities and information
