The RNLI has a network of local fundraising teams organising a wide range of activities and events which last year raised £14 million to save lives at sea. Each branch and guild is supported by a Community Fundraising Manager, although the range and frequency of fundraising events is determined by the members themselves.
Becoming part of your local fundraising team could offer you an opportunity to improve your CV, meet new people or learn new skills. Some of our team members have been volunteering for many years, some just join us for a few months – whatever their commitments allow.
As the primary point of contact between the Lisburn & Hillsborough branch and the community support team you will play a key role in ensuring effective communication by distributing information to branch members, taking notes at meetings and placing printing and materials orders. You will be highly organised and efficient, used to meeting deadlines and have an enthusiasm for assisting at fundraising events and activities.
Whether you have experience in administration or secretarial work, or you want to develop such skills, this could be a role for you.
