A well know Arts organisation is seeking a Visitor Experience Manager to lead their team, you will be responsible for a pool of 35 members of staff and will directly manage 10 on at any given time.
Main areas of work for the Visitor Experience Manager:
Lead, manager and motivate the team
Plan workloads and coordinate a rota
Oversee and manage recruitment and training of new staff
Manage the retail function, manage and maintain stock and profitability
Produce relevant management reports
Management of visitor areas including health and safety
Essential criteria for the Visitor Experience Manager:
Previous experience working within an art or museum background
Strong line management and development skills
Proven experience of working within a customer facing role
Ability to provide training to members of staff
Ability to work at weekends and evenings on an ad hoc basis
