Volunteers needed for social mobility charity
Could you help a charity deliver online sessions to support their students?
A social mobility charity which helps bright, disadvantaged young people through meaningful training and supported employment within major firms need your help now!
Leadership Through Sport and Business (LTSB) make sure those at risk of under-employment find careers that match their talents and ambition, contributing in their roles from day one.
They are looking for volunteer coaches who can deliver online Virtual Skills Clinics to their students. You'll deliver sessions such as Goal Setting, Interview Practice, Commercial Awareness and more.
The Virtual Skills Clinic was created to continue the support and development of the young people on the LTSB programme. The professional volunteers who run the sessions provide young people with positive role models, broadens their professional network and offers them a chance to develop new skills.
Sessions are about 30 mins and you can sign up for as many as you like/are able to do.
You don't need any coaching qualifications as LTSB will train you up to make sure you're ready to go and you'll even receive comprehensive lesson plans for each session you deliver. All you need is an enthusiastic outlook and a passion for helping young, bright students.
