A renowned UK disability charity is looking for a Trusts Officer to join their team in London, working with a broad range of trusts, responsible for securing a minimum income target of £250,000. The role will require you to maintain existing relationships whilst contributing to the charity's pipeline of prospective opportunities.

They are keen to find someone who has worked in Trusts fundraising, processing applications of £1,000 and over, with demonstrable experience of securing significant grants from major funding organisations.

This is a small team, keen on collaborative working. The role is currently weighted towards working on existing relationships, but there is a strong focus within the department on moving more towards new business opportunities going forward. The successful applicant will need to have stamina, passion for the work, an ability to be cool under pressure, a strategic approach and good language creativity.

In addition to working within the UK market, this role will also involve remote involvement with some projects taking place overseas. Experience working with statutory funding and also working internationally is strongly desirable, but not essential for the position.

There is also an opportunity to be involved in some project-based line-management as a part of this role. No relevant experience is required, but a willingness to take on these responsibilities in the future would be very welcome.

The closing date for this vacancy is 12th November.
