TPP is delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with Re-engage to recruit for a Trust and Statutory Manager. The role is permanent, full time, paying £35,000 and fully remote.
Re-engage is an established charity which aims to combat loneliness for vulnerable older people over 75. They work in communities across the country to provide social connections to those most isolated through monthly tea party groups to telephone befriending services.
In this role you will be instrumental in contributing to the charity's income of circa £2 million; Trusts, Foundations and Statutory income accounts for 60% of this. You will report into the Director of Fundraising and Communications. You will work alongside another Trust Fundraiser, who is responsible for lower-level applications, joining a wider team of 35 people.
In this role you will be responsible for a portfolio of trusts, foundations and statutory donors worth £40k upwards. You will have a particular focus on developing income from statutory sources and generating income from multi-year grants. Recent warm donors include Scottish and Welsh Government, National Lottery and Garfield Weston. You will continue to build relationships with such sources but also identify other relevant sources in line with the organisation's clear three-year fundraising strategy.
To be successful in this role you will have a successful track record in trust fundraising including statutory funding. You will have sound communication skills to engage and enthuse donors with the aims of the charity. You will have excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently and on your own initiative. Finally, you will be passionate about combatting loneliness in older people.
