Terrence Higgins Trust is the UK's leading HIV and sexual health charity, at the forefront of fighting HIV, policy analysis, lobbying and campaigning as the voice of HIV and sexual health. Meeting the needs of our service users, supporters and members will always be at the heart of what we do.
The organisation is governed by up to 15 trustees, who work closely with the four-person executive team. The majority of trustees are elected by a membership of supporters, service users, volunteers and staff.
We're currently looking to recruit a number of new trustees and are looking specifically for people with any of the following skills:
- fundraising/income generation
- commercial/enterprise/business development
In addition to seeking individuals with these skills, we would also be interested in hearing from people with PR/communications skills, campaigning expertise and wider voluntary sector governance experience.
It's also vital that the board of trustees is representative of the communities we serve, and particularly welcome applications from:
- people living with HIV
- people from BAME communities, especially black African communities
- the trans community.
To make your application for this role, please visit https://www.tht.org.uk/our-work/about-our-charity/our-governance/our-trustees/trustee-recruitment/trustee-application-form
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 31 August 2018.
