Together for Short Lives is the leading UK charity that speaks for all children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions and all those who support, love and care for them. When children are unlikely to reach adulthood, we - and our members - aim to make a lifetime of difference for children and their families.
Together for Short Lives is looking to recruit 4 trustees to join its Board and play a key role in driving forward the charity at a time of both great opportunity and great challenge for children, young people and families.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape an organisation of unique importance at a major point in its development.
We are looking for candidates from across the UK who have strong leadership qualities, an ability to contribute at a strategic governance level and one or more of the following skills, areas of experience or backgrounds:
- Lived experience of children's palliative care (a parent or family member)
- Clinical experience of children's palliative care, outside of a hospice setting
- Experience and knowledge of children's hospices
