The British Council for Prevention of Blindness (BCPB) is seeking trustees for its Board. We are a small niche charity focusing on providing grants for research and training to eliminate avoidable blindness in low and lower middle-income countries, where the need is greatest.
Trustees are required to attend three Board meetings per year in London and to participate in email discussions in between meetings. We will reimburse reasonable expenses.
We are particularly interested in people with experience in
- strategic planning
- charity governance
- trusteeship with another charity
BCPB seeks to promote diversity and we welcome applications from minority groups.
