The Ethical Property Foundation ("EPF") is the UK's leading property advice charity for the voluntary sector. Founded in 2004, we have to date supported 4000+ voluntary organisations and since 2015, we have been sole referral partner to the Charity Commission for land & property advice. Our goal is to equip voluntary organisations with the knowledge and confidence to make the most of the property they occupy and manage, for the benefit of their service and beneficiaries, without crises or compliance failures. Property issues are most frequently cited as the reason for the closure of small charities.
EPF seeks a Trustee with experience in corporate partnerships & sponsorship. You will help us make the right decisions and understand the strategic impact of working with corporate bodies. We are looking for a trustee to play an active role in this work as part of the overall governance of EPF.
You will have recent, ideally current, practical experience of corporate partnership engagement. Experience in governance or management is desirable. We are open to receiving applications from those with and without experience in the charity sector.
Our Board of trustees meet quarterly in London and the role is undertaken on a voluntary basis though reasonable travel expenses are paid. We estimate total time required would be around 8 - 12 days per annum.
Our trustees are ambassadors for our work and occasionally attend other events. The role of a Trustee is an extremely important one and as a member of our Board you will have responsibility for the overall direction, vision and strategy of EPF, providing support to the full time CEO. You will assist us preparing for future challenges and play a key role in our success.
