TPP's Fundraising and Development team are supporting an iconic London-based charity with the search for a Trusts and Foundations Manager role. Joining an established team, this role will deliver against a c£600k target of year on year trust funding, and also support work to deliver match funding for an ambitious restoration and refurbishment project.
Specifically, you will:
- Devise a discrete strategy for trust fundraising and account management - ensuring this is effectively implemented by assuming ownership of the strategy from inception to delivery
- Develop and manage a portfolio of trusts, working closely with the major gifts team to ensure effective cultivation and stewardship
- Develop personalised relationships with current and historic funders, cultivating relationships with new or prospective funders with a view to achieving fruitful long-term engagement
- Research and evaluate opportunities for generating new income
In order to be considered for this role, you will bring a track record of raising funds from Charitable Trusts, Foundations and Statutory sources (in excess of 5/6 figures). You will have proven experience of managing high-value grant reporting, a persuasive writing style, and a good understanding of the context, trends and conditions affecting fundraising from Trusts, Foundations and Statutory sources. The role will support work on a large National Lottery Heritage Fund application, so experience in this area will be highly advantageous.
