The Equality Trust is the national UK charity that campaigns to reduce social and economic inequality and promotes the idea that more unequal societies are bad for almost everyone within them. Almost every modern social and environmental problem - ill-health, lack of community life, violence, drugs, obesity, mental illness, long working hours, big prison populations - is more likely to occur in a less equal society. TET campaigns nationally and locally to reduce inequality.
We are wishing to recruit a number of new trustees as well as one trustee to act as Treasurer.
We are interested in receiving applications from people with experience in the private sector, communications and marketing (including digital), and fundraising.
We believe that there is real strength in a diverse group of trustees. Therefore we would welcome applications from ethnic minorities, disabled people, LGTB people and young people.
If you are interested please contact our Chair, Sean Baine (0207 794 2636; email@example.com) if you would like to receive the full recruitment pack or have a preliminary discussion.
We need to receive your application by 10.00am on Monday 14 January 2019.
