Citizens Advice Caerphilly Blaenau Gwent has an exciting opportunity for an Honorary Treasurer to join their Trustee Board. We are looking for a financial professional ideally with an understanding of the third sector and Charities SORP, who can support the strategic direction of this dynamic and forward thinking organisation.

The role of treasurer, working closely with our Finance Manager will oversee the financial matters of the charity. They will monitor the financial administration of the charity and report to the Trustee Board in compliance with the governing document and legal requirements.

The role will include

  • Chairing the Finance & Personnel sub-committee
  • Overseeing and presenting draft budgets and internal management accounts and annual financial statements to the Trustee Board
  • Monitoring and advising on the financial viability of the charity
  • Advising on the financial implications of the organisation's strategic plan

The role will provide a great deal of satisfaction, supporting a charity that has an excellent reputation for delivering quality and life changing advice services to the community.
