A national disability charity is looking for a Transformation Lead for an initial period of 12 months with the possibility of extension after this. The charity works with partners to deliver specific training programmes to improve accessibility for disabled people in various ways. You will be employed by the charity and work in partnership with the local council and relevant associations to transform a specific training programme they are currently delivering.

The Transformation Lead will combine their experience of developing training programmes, alongside their business and commercial acumen, with a deep empathy for the charity's end users and their experience. You will be able to work towards and understand the 'bigger picture' of transformation, and specifically systems change, while being able to immerse yourself in the important details.

This role will be responsible for delivering the transformation programme in line with agreed visions, timelines and parameters set by the board. You will also monitor the overall transformation progress and ensure all activities are aligned to their intended outcomes. The Transformation Lead will liaise with the evaluation team and external consultants (research and design firms) as well as leading on the business case development and redesign of the delivery model.

The organisation is looking for someone with demonstrable business acumen, and commercial experience with regards to setting up sustainable business models and leveraging different sources of funding. You will also have worked on developing education products, particularly corporate training and online/ digital training. As someone with lots of empathy, you will have worked with partners across multiple sectors.

The role will work on a blended approach of both office (Essex) and home working, with some possible travel to meet with partners occasionally.
