TPP Recruitment are excited to be working with a children and young people's charity who work to improve the lives and outcomes of young people in care by providing them a range of high-quality services and support.

The charity is looking to recruit a Training Officer to be responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of their training and consultancy offer.

This is a brand new role for the charity and will be appointed on a 4 day a permanent contract. While currently remote, the role will be based in central London but will have the possibility to work from home half of the time.

Working closely with the Training & Development Manager, and with a range of stakeholders, participants and young trainers, you will develop and deliver a pilot training programme for professionals on topics related to children in care and young care leavers. You will also work closely with local authorities to write and delivery a training programme for Personal Advisors who support young care leavers transition into independent living.

As the Training Officer, you will also work directly with care experienced young people in the development and delivery of the training packages and you will help promote the training and identify opportunities to raise awareness of the programmes.

To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate experience and skills in the following:
- working in the children and young people's sector with a strong understanding of the key issues relating to the provision of services for children in care and care leavers.
-writing training content and coordinating and delivering training events/workshops to professionals
-exceptional training facilitations skills in person and online with good use of PowerPoint and online video platforms (Zoom, Teams etc).
