TPP Recruitment are working with a growing environmental charity based in Bedfordshire who work with local communities and partners to improve their access, understanding and enjoyment of the natural environment, wildlife and history around them.

Due to increased funding, the charity is looking to recruit a Training, Networking and Skills Officer on a 12 month contract initially. This is a new position with a view to becoming a sustainable, permanent post in future.

As the Training, Networking and Skills Officer, you will seek to work with partner organisations, local communities, volunteers and landowners to help identify what training and support is needed and provide training opportunities, courses and events in a variety of different subjects to enhance their skills and learning. Training will include both face to face and online opportunities.

Examples of training opportunities include working with volunteers to upskill them in diversity awareness, fundraising and leadership. There will also be specialist courses and training for example, habitat management and heritage skills. Your role will be to develop and coordinate the programme of training opportunities and where appropriate, bring in trainers to deliver specialist activities for the Charity's partners.

To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate experience and skills in the following:
-coordinating training programmes and developing or reviewing training materials in a variety of formats, eg, web-based seminars, training videos, printed manuals.
-coordinating or managing projects, programmes, publications or events to budget and time scales
-exceptional networking and relationship building skills with the ability to engage with a range of people including volunteers and communities
