An international sustainability organisation are recruiting for a Training and Quality Manager on an initial 12month contract, with a view to become permanent next financial year, to oversee the operation and development of an online training platform and ensure that regional auditors are up to industry standards.
This is an exciting new role for the organisation and will require someone who has the confidence to communicate with scientists and auditors in order to set and develop standards and training requirements, as these update yearly, as well as deliver some training workshops where required.
As someone who is able prioritise and project manage multiple workstreams, there this a lot of work planned over the next 12months to develop their training and quality assurance function, so this is an excellent opportunity for someone who has the drive to work strategically and has a hands on approach to development and delivery in order to thrive in the role and organisation.
Ideally coming from a professional body, or similar, you will have experience of online training platforms, as well as understanding of professional training development, delivery and evaluation in order to continuously review and update the platform according to market, industry and regulatory requirements.
Although knowledge of sustainability, environmental policy or conservation is desirable, you must at least have experience of working with and for scientific audiences in order to engage with stakeholders and understand product certification programmes.
