An internationally recognised higher education institution is looking to recruit a timetabling officer. The University is based in Bristol and the job is a part-time position, based on 28 hours per week. The successful candidate would need to be able to work four days a week from 8:00-14:30 and one day a week from 8:00-15:00 including an hour break for lunch. The position pays £28,000 per annum pro-rata.

The purpose of this post is to plan and deliver the academic timetable for Bristol and Exeter students and schedule the academic team workload. Efficiently using resources across all modes and sites of delivery, the successful candidate will ensure that timetabling informs and supports other operations activities, such as assessments, teaching cover, room bookings and absences. You must support university-wide initiatives to develop the timetabling service and assist in identifying solutions as the University portfolio diversifies.

The successful candidate will be of graduate level or equivalent and should ideally have experience of timetabling and using Syllabus+ within a higher education institution. You will have excellent and effective oral and written communication and negotiation skills and be highly organised and driven.
