A central London education institution is currently recruiting for a part time Timetabling & Scheduling Coordinator for two days a week until the end of February.

You will work alongside the Academic Programme Manager providing administrative and scheduling to support the Directors and Course Leaders across the programmes.

You will be the first point of contact for a range of day-to-day queries to support the delivery of assessments, courses, events and meetings. An integral part of the role is effective communication not only with students but staff and external stakeholders in addition to planning, scheduling classes and supporting the academic staff.

Key Responsibilities:
* Take responsibility for the production, delivery and maintenance of the School's timetable, including, but not limited to classes, workshops, and events within agreed timescales, making full use of the functionality of the timetabling software.
* Manage the collection, analysis and interpretation of timetable data, audits and reports from all departments.
* Ensure timetable data, including classes and resources, are accurate, complete and available to all interested parties.
* Maintain and adapt the School's timetable to adjust to internal and external requirements.
* Anticipate and work to prevent timetable-related problems that could have serious consequences.
* Identify and resolve difficulties in relation to student and/or staff timetables; escalating to the Academic Programme Manager if required.
* Provision of training and support on timetable systems for staff as appropriate.
* Assist students and staff with room booking requests.
* Liaise with staff from across the School to allocate and confirm room bookings for committees, one-off meetings and other events.
* Provide advice and support to students and staff on their timetables.
* Monitor students' attendance, report on incomplete attendance records and students who do not meet the minimum attendance requirements.

You will have:
* Experience of working in an administration role within Higher Education or within the Education sector.
* Significant experience in timetabling and scheduling in complex environments.
* Extensive experience in delivering timetable and using timetabling software particularly CELCAT.
* Experience of working with Microsoft Office.
* Excellent written and oral communication.
* Excellent IT skills and experience using technology.
* The ability to provide a high level of service and support to students, visitors and staff.

This role will require you to be on site for two days a week in central London. This is an immediate start so if you have the above experience and available to start straight away, this will be a great role for you.
