A vibrant education charity based in London are looking for a temporary Assistant Youth Officer on a temporary basis from 16th July - 3rd August 2018.
Through campaigning, education and support, this vital charity aims to educate young people about personal safety, so they can live free from violence, aggression and harassment.
You must be a qualified Youth Worker with proven experience working with vulnerable young people and communities. You'll also need experience delivering training and working in partnership with multiple organisations. Excellent knowledge of safeguarding practices will also be essential.
Over the course of this assignment, you'll be supporting and shadowing the Youth Officer in the delivery of education projects by working with specific focus groups of young people and children in care as well as the wider community. You'll also work with the community and development officer to capture critical information about young people and their safety.
You'll be required to travel to locations in West London and potentially further outside of London.
