Technical Advice Team Manager - 1 year FTC

Our Client is a leading charity that support people in their older age and they have an exciting vacancy for a Technical Adviser specialising in Social Care.

As a Technical Advice Team Manager you will support the Advice Team, by ensuring that all Information and Advice service delivery is accurate and will work within a team of Technical Advisers covering Social Care, Benefits and Wellbeing.

Key duties will include:

  • Line management and coaching of technical staff
  • To develop and maintain a working knowledge of legislative frameworks
  • Provide technical guidance and strategic advice
  • Draft, check and approve content
  • Approve and provide input to information and advise resources
  • Build relationships with relevant stakeholders

Key requirements / experience will include:

  • Substantial knowledge legislative frameworks and issues affecting older people
  • Knowledge of the Advice Quality Standard
  • Experience of working with Information and Advice resources
  • Ability to deliver complex advice and information in an understandable format
