Community Support Team Leader – Leading Housing & Support Charity
£21,254-£21,784 per annum

TPP’s client is a well-known housing and support organisation in the Surrey area, specialising in Learning Disabilities. They deliver person-centred care to services users on the autistic spectrum, physical disabilities, challenging behaviour and mental health needs.
As an integral member of the Service Team, you will be expected to lead and motivate a team of Support Workers to ensure that they meet the needs of services users, promoting independence and adopting a person centred approached. You must have experience of supporting services users with learning disabilities. Further experience in working with people on the autistic spectrum, who have physical disabilities, challenging behaviour and mental health needs will also be advantageous.
The position is community-based across the Surrey cluster, the service users live independently either in their own homes or in a supported accommodation and require support throughout the day with daily activities such as cooking, menu planning, shopping, booking and attending medical appointments, finances, activities and day trips. The support will vary with some service users requiring as little as 2 hours per week, while some require much more support. You will be expected to work evenings, weekends and sleep ins where required. You must be able to drive and have use of a car for work purposes.
