Team Coordinator, East and Southern Africa

Our client a leading international womens charity are seeking an experience team coordinator to join the programme team on a temporary basis starting 12th June,

The main purpose of this role is to promote and ensure the smooth running of the International Programmes Department through providing a high level of administrative and logistical support to the East and Southern Africa team and the overseas partners. Your duties will be varied, ranging from developing effective office systems, acting as point of contact with other teams and departments, organising internal team meetings and events, making travel arrangements by liaising with our travel partner, carrying out financial processes (raising purchase orders, making team salary allocations etc), assisting with the production of reports and proposals, managing mailing lists and all other administrative tasks.


  • Experience in team co-ordination or administrative role for a large team
  • Experience in working with statistical and financial data
  • Experience in organisation of events/workshops


  • Excellent IT skills, including Advanced Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and Skype for Business (recording calls etc.)
  • Good financial skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to manage a heavy and fluctuating workload
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands of a large team
  • French (highly desirable)

Location: Central London

Employment Type: Temporary 3-6 weeks - starting 12th June

Salary/rate: £12.50ph

Working hours: 35pw
