We are working with a charity of essential key workers who are responsible for transporting over a huge amount of the world's goods and fuels to recruit for a Team Administrator. This role is mainly remote working with one day a week at the organisation's international headquarters in London. Initially this will be a 9 month contract that is subject to renewal.

As the Team Administrator you will provide high quality administration to the Director of Regional Engagement and the wider team. You will process all payments awarded via the organisations Grants Programme and promote a culture of monitoring an evaluation across the charity. You will provide support to the Director and wider team for specific business programmes and projects.

You will prepare grant paperwork, process payments, and process new applications for funding, including the Samaritan's Fund and Co-ordinate the Grants and Programme Committee, including meeting papers and meeting dates, precising each application for the Members. You will facilitate the provision of PPE to regions and chaplains as necessary, maintaining stock levels and supplier relationships.

You will also research and book travel for the Director of Advocacy and some Regional Directors and Regional Staff and Process all team invoices and monthly credit card expenditure, ensuring they are coded correctly and paid on time.

To be considered for the role you will have the following skills, knowledge, and experiences:
* Substantial experience in a busy administrative role
* Ability to manage a series of projects simultaneously, often reacting quickly to ad hoc requests whilst maintaining a structured work programme
* Excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Basic knowledge of WordPress editor and Raiser's Edge would be an advantage
* Ability to keep on top of personal and departmental administration
* Able to show initiative and work under limited supervision
