A membership association and educational charity who are also an Awarding Body are looking for a Teacher Training Officer on an interim basis. The role will be for 8 weeks initially working 21 hours per week. You will be required to support the Head of Teacher Training with tutor training planning and delivery.
The Teacher Training Officer will coordinate the efficient administration of all areas of the higher level training programmes and communicate and liaise with students, tutors and assessors to ensure the effective delivery of their Level 6 qualification. you will administer, plan and contribute to presentations and teacher training delivery as required, as well as coordinating and tracking budgets. This role will work collaboratively and flexibly to support the broader team with events, open days and courses and promote the teacher training courses as required.
In order to make a success of this role you will have proven administrative ability with experience of processing data accurately and great attention to detail. You will have previously planned and organised educational training and have great communication skills with the ability to competently manage telephone and email queries. Ideally, you will have be able to manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date budgets.
The organisation are happy for you to work the 21 hours over the week as you please (i.e. 3 full days or spread across 4 or 5 days) and the role will be offered on a hybrid basis with this person required in the office 1 day a month at least.
