This high profile human rights campaigning organisation is currently looking for a Supporter Development Coordinator to help deliver a programme of email marketing. You will be helping manage the organisation's transition to working within the guidelines of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), helping retain an already engaged database. This role is a contract for 4-5 months and will be of a 4 days per week basis.
Our client welcomes applications from all sections of the community. The client is currently under-represented by staff from black and minority ethnic groups; such groups are particularly encouraged to apply.
Key duties within this role will include:
- To plan, develop and implement a programme of direct marketing campaigns in order to retain supporters in line with GDPR changes
- Writing compelling fundraising and campaigns copy
- Work with internal stakeholders to share knowledge and work collaboratively towards agreed objectives
You will already have solid direct marketing experience, with a good understanding of mass email and a good knowledge around GDPR in relation to fundraising. It would be fantastic if you have experience working for a campaigning organisation but not essential.
