Temporary Supporter Care Officer

Our client a large national health charity are seeking an expereinced Supporter Care Officer to support at a busy time, this is a temporary role for approx 4-6 weeks to start ASAP.

To provide a high level of support through the Supporter Service Centre to our supporters, members, volunteers, branches and member of the public and internal clients with an efficient and effective service, in terms of quality, satisfaction and support

To contribute to the overall implementation of the Supporter Service Centre team's objectives in building the centre's services so that it is the first point of contact for our supporters, members, volunteers and branches

* Experience of managing, maintaining and developing customer relationships
* Experience of working within a customer service call centre environment
* Experience of dealing with and responding to multi-channel communications
* Experience of selling products or services through outbound telemarketing
* Experience of dealing with and responding to complaints and feedback
* Experience of Gift Aid and working to the HMRC guidelines surrounding scheme
* Experience of working in a team with set targets and deadlines

Knowledge and skills

* Demonstrable commitment to collaborative team work

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of media and audiences

* Ability to maintain confidentiality of information held and processed
* Excellent IT skills, in particular Microsoft Office, CRM databases and telephone all handling software
