The TPP Fundraising team are delighted to be supporting a leading children's cancer charity with the search for a new Supporter Acquisition Manager. This is an amazing career opportunity as you look to grow and develop their Individual Giving programme from scratch, working within an organisation that has an ambitious growth strategy.

As the Supporter Acquisition Manager is brand new within the organisation there will be a lot of responsibility on the shoulders of the post holder to develop an effective function to successfully acquire new supporters/donors. There is a lot of investment within this area that will give you the freedom to test campaigns out, the ability to have a say in what channels would work best. Currently they are thinking that the programme will be delivered around regular giving, cash, lotteries and payroll giving. There will be work with several third-party agencies to deliver a number of the campaigns, ensuring effective delivery and compliance of all campaigns to minimise risk. Working closely with fellow managers across the fundraising function will be a large part of the role, both to share opportunities and to ensure consistent stewardship of the supporter journey.

As you will be setting up this area of fundraising, the ideal candidate will possess proven experience of creating and delivering a multi-channel direct marketing programme. You will have in depth knowledge of various direct marketing channels such as direct mail, print, direct dialogue and digital. It will be vital that you have experience of developing effective supporter stewardship journey, being a new area, this will be key to the success of the team in the long run. You will need to be confident in working along side the Head of department to develop a fundraising strategy, input into the direction that they take as well as opportunities within the market.
