A leading disability charity and provider of employment support are now recruiting a Supported Internship Job Coach to join the Team on a full time, permanent basis. The role will be based in Whipps Cross.

The charity knows how important job coaches are for people with disabilities to ensure they have better lives in the community as equal citizens. They promote independence and inclusion through a range of learning and work opportunities and provide job coaches to Supported Internship programmes through a government funded grant.

As the Supported Internship Job Coach, you will provide effective job coaching to interns aged 16 - 25 with Special Education Needs, including robust employment planning and employer engagement, leading to paid employment and successful outcomes for young people with SEND.

You role will include developing a wide variety of internship placements with Supported Internship partners, reporting on progress of the interns and make recommendations relating to their progression, coach interns in their job roles on placement, and provide continuous person-centred support to help them on their pathway to paid employment.

If you have experience of working with people with learning disabilities and take a creative approach to coaching employability skills, this could be a great role for you!

If you are passionate, experienced job coach looking to make a big impact, please show your interest today by clicking apply or sending a copy of your CV to quoting the job title and reference number

Closing date: Friday 22nd October

We want you to have every opportunity to demonstrate your skills, ability and potential; please contact us if you require any assistance or adjustment so that we can help with making the application process work for you.
