Supported Housing Night Concierge Worker

Various locations throughout Croydon, Lambeth, and Kensington & Chelsea

£17,617 per annum, pro rata based on full time

Permanent, up to 42 hours per week.

About the Organisation:

TPP’s client, a leading homelessness charity in London, provides supported housing for homeless customers with complex needs. They provide solutions to homelessness through shelter, support and advice to over 1500 each year across four London boroughs.

The Role:

The Night Concierge will work within projects that provide accommodation delivering a high quality and responsive night service to customers and the community. The role is varied, not only providing an essential front-of-house presence to customers, but also carrying out Health & Safety checks and dealing with queries and complaints as they arise overnight.

We are looking for individuals who can work up to four shifts a week over a variety of nights (including weekends), across various locations throughout Croydon, Lambeth, and Kensington & Chelsea. We are also looking for individuals who can cover at short notice and planned holiday cover. Each night shift is 21.30-08.30.

About you:

You will have empathy towards vulnerable and homeless people and a passion to want to provide safe and secure accommodation to those most vulnerable in society. You will have a positive and dynamic attitude to working at times in a challenging environment, and excellent communication skills; both written and verbal. You must have clear understanding of delivering excellent customer service. As the role will be across various locations throughout South London, you will be willing to travel to these locations when required. You will also be available to work up to four shifts a week over a variety of nights (including weekends), and in some instances at short notice.
