About the Organisation:

TPP’s client, a leading homelessness charity in London, provides supported housing for homeless customers with complex needs. They provide solutions to homelessness through shelter, support and advice to over 1500 each year across four London boroughs.

The Role:

The aim of the role is to support and empower our customers to increase their life skills, self-management and confidence to successfully sustain independent living. This is achieved through the provision of individualised support, tailored to the specific needs of the homeless adults and young people who use our services.

About you:

As well as demonstrating a commitment to supporting the needs of homeless and vulnerable people, you must have a clear understanding of why people become homeless, and the needs and challenges they face.

You will be required to work with customers, alongside Support Worker colleagues, to achieve the actions set out in their support plans, and to review their progress towards achieving their goals. You will be part of a dedicated and supportive team, and so will need to demonstrate a positive and inclusive approach. You must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications. You will be willing to work flexible shift patterns which include Bank Holidays, evenings and weekends where required as part of a shift rota system.

Right to work information must be provided and any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service check.

Our client is an equal opportunities employer and encourages applications from all sections of the community, including people who have experienced homelessness themselves.
