A global awarding body are recruiting for a Subject Manager with a specialism in History to bring their skills and be a part of their passionate and mission focused environment where they encourage students to be active learners, well rounded individuals and engaged world citizens.
Coming from an education background with a specialism in History, and also having been involved in the assessment development process, you will lead and manage the assessment of their History Diploma Programme, to ensure quality, accuracy and fairness in assessment.
You will be managing the senior examiner team who are responsible for the subject content, ensuring there is no bias, challenging any issues and deadline are met. You will also be in charge of all examination paper authoring, standardisation and grade awards.
Having a qualification at degree level in History or a related subject, and significant and relevant post-qualification experience in educational assessment, teaching or research you will lead and work within a team and to foster a collaborative environment, as well as accommodate innovative ways of working with and using digital media and manage multiple projects to agreed timelines.
This is a full time, permanent, office based position, though as some of the examiners are internationally based there maybe infrequent weekend work required but time will be given in lieu.
