A global awarding body are currently recruiting for a Subject Manager in Economics and Social and Cultural Anthropology to lead and manage all aspects of the assessment provision in this area.
As someone who has subject knowledge in one of these areas or similar for example a humanities background, business studies/management, geography, psychology, sociology, social studies; and has assessment experience such as a teacher looking for a career change, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, accuracy and fairness in assessments by arranging senior examiner meetings to standardise marking and undertake grade awarding.
You will have the ability to lead and work within a team, and to foster a collaborative environment in order to work with the subject managers in different areas and other internal departments such as the Assessment and Academic team, as well as represent the organisation at teacher workshops.
This is a maternity contract and the right applicant must be flexible to some travel and weekend work in peak season (May/June and Nov/Dec) as and when required.
