A leading university in the creative arts of music and dance, are currently looking for a student halls administrator to join their team on a temporary basis due to the significant increase of students choosing to live on campus. This role is for two days a week and will last for five months. As you will be the first point of contact for accommodation on site you will need to have excellent customer service and thrive in a busy environment.

About the Role:

  • Provide advice, guidance and information to visitors, students and staff
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Respond to email queries in accordance to SLA's
  • Write letters on behalf of the department
  • Manual data entry
  • Provide additional support to the Head of student Services and advisors when necessary
  • Raise purchase orders
  • Room allocations
  • Liaise with external vendors/suppliers

About the Candidate:

  • Experience working within student services or accommodation
  • Comfortable performing administrative duties
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Good interpersonal and telephone skills
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Some experience using financial systems such as Agresso
  • Outstanding customer service skills
