Standards Manager- Instructor and Verification

A nationally recognised awarding body based in the heart of the Midlands with over 40 years' experience of developing quality training and qualifications are recruiting for a Standards Manager to ensure that there is an approved and quality assured network of Instructors, Assessors; External Quality Assurers (EQAs) Technical Verifiers(TVs) and Technical Advisor/Writers (TAs).

As someone with existing quality assurance experience, ideally from an awarding body background, this is a great chance to grow the role and take accountability for new projects. You will be responsible for engaging with and taking on board recommendations from providers, instructors and internal colleagues to develop standard setting events and training for quality assurers.

You will also have experience of successful project delivery through commissioning external contractors in order to maintain quality and standards of these personnel over time, ensure that supply meets the demand from training providers and that the processes and quality assurance strategy related to Instructors/Assessors/EQAs/TVs/TAs are applied consistently and to standard and to monitor performance against key targets.
