A charity who work in partnership with employers, education and governments to raise the standards in apprenticeships and technical education so more young people get the best start in work and life, are recruiting for a Quality and Standards Manager on a full time, permanent basis.
This UK charity are part of a global movement which develops excellence in young people and propels them up to world-class standards by testing and assessing their skills and knowledge against peers through skills competition programmes that are run by delivery partners and designed by education subject experts across a range of industries from engineering to digital skills, improving young peoples' confidence and celebrating their achievements.
As the standards and Quality Manager, your role will be to embed UK industry practice, qualification standards and competencies within these competition programmes. Managing the contract with the delivery partners and education subject experts across a range of industries, you'll work together to achieve high performance levels.
You will use your understanding of quality assurance frameworks within education to ensure that the skills competitions are aligned to current national qualification, standards and industry practice. In line with the Quality Assurance Framework, you will also lead on quality assurance, monitoring and reporting of competition deliverables and will implement a delivery and monitoring framework for competition partners.
To be considered for the role, you'll need to have experience in quality assurance and standards frameworks within vocational education or apprenticeships. You'll also need to have a proven track record in multi stakeholder relationship management and skills in project management, organisation and planning.
