Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have an interest in relationship education for young people?

My client is a children and young people's charity who exist to prevent abuse and violence in the lives of young people through engaging them in creative arts and education projects. They are now looking to recruit a Specialist Provision Manager to manage projects which engage diverse groups of young people in healthy relationships education.

As the Specialist Provision Manager, you will manage a range of projects and programmes focussed on engaging young people who may be vulnerable to domestic and sexual violence, including those with special educational needs, LGBTQ+, asylum seekers and refugees and those who are care experienced or care leavers.

The programmes are arts-based, abuse-prevention programmes that use innovative, creative methods and content including digital media and film and sometime trauma informed approaches to engage and empower young people.

Your role will include leading the development, delivery and evaluation of existing and new pilot Specialist Provision Programmes for groups of children and young people in a range of settings including primary and secondary schools, youth theatres, SEND schools and other youth settings. You will also manage partnerships with funders, delivery partners and professionals in the sector as well as manage the budget for the programmes.

To be considered for this role, you'll need to have at least a few years experience in leading creative programme development and delivery within an education, charity or arts setting, including partnerships management, monitoring and evaluation and budget management, as well as good knowledge of the needs of vulnerable young people. If you have knowledge of trauma informed approaches for young people, this would be an advantage.

The charity is based in London but they are working remotely at the moment and envisage a blended approach to office and home based working in future. They are also dedicated to creating a diverse environment which values a range of different personal and professional experience. They are open to potential candidates who lack direct experience of this type of role but who demonstrate the skills and talent they are looking for.
