Special Events Assistant - Temporary

Our client a leading health charity are seeking some temporary support at a busy time in the events team, this role is approximatly 2 months to start immeidatly if sucessful.

  • Support the Special Events team in the delivery of the Auction, focusing on sourcing and organising the raffle, silent auction, print sales and post auction lot fulfilment
  • Provide administrative support to the Special Events team, including ticketing administration, responding to emails and updating database records
  • Attending Events and providing support where necessary

Essential Skills and Experience

  •  Raiser's Edge experience
  •  Confident telephone manner
  •  Ability to provide excellent customer care with donors and supporters
  • Good numeracy and literacy
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work methodically and accurately with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with supporters and other staff
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team 
  • Willing to volunteer at all events and work anti social hours when required
  • Confidence in using Office applications
