Special Events Assistant - Temporary

We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the leading national health charities based near Kings Cross, they are seeking an experienced events assistant to support in the fundraising remint on a temporary basis for 1-2 months to start ASAP!

Key Tasks

  • Support the Special Events team in the delivery of the Auction focusing on:
  • RSVP management
  • Ticket sale processing and mailing
  • Assisting with the sourcing and organising the 'Box of Delights' raffle for the Auction
  • Lot delivery logistics
  • Confirming correct paperwork is in place with lot donors
  • Processing post event lot sales
  • Updating of Raiser's Edge donor records

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Confidence in using Office applications
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Experience of using Raiser's Edge (or similar CRM)
  • Good numeracy and literacy
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work methodically and accurately with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with supporters and other staff
  • Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team
  • Willing to volunteer at all events and work anti-social hours when required
  • Ability to provide excellent customer care with donors and supporters
